What makes Fusion Mineral Paint different from other furniture paints?
Fusion is a 100% acrylic, water-based paint with a built-in top coat. Unlike chalk-style paints, it requires minimal prep work and offers a highly durable, waterproof finish without the mandatory need for wax or varnish.
Do I need to sand or prime my furniture before painting?
While Fusion has incredible adhesion, we recommend a light sanding and a thorough cleaning with TSP to remove oils. For high-gloss surfaces like laminate or lacquer, a coat of Fusion Ultra Grip is recommended for the best results.
How long does it take for the paint to fully cure?
Fusion is dry to the touch in about 2 hours, but it takes approximately 21 days to fully cure to its maximum hardness. We recommend gentle use of your furniture during this period.
What is your shipping policy for heavy paint cans?
We offer flat-rate shipping across North America. All orders are carefully packed with protective cushioning to ensure your paint arrives safely. Orders typically ship within 1-2 business days.
Can I return a color if I change my mind?
Due to the nature of the product and to ensure quality control, we only accept returns on unopened, sealed containers within 30 days of purchase. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Is Fusion Mineral Paint safe to use indoors?
Yes! Fusion is non-toxic, lead-free, and contains zero VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). It has very little odor, making it safe to use indoors around children and pets.
